10 — What do I send my adjuster? (one-page packet)

Part of the Insurance Housing Library: a calm path from tonight to the first night back in your own kitchen.

Free instant checklist: Insurance Housing ChecklistPacket items, receipt kit, and how to send it, on one printable page. Tick items off on your phone; we save them on your device only.

Print this page. Fill it. Email it to the assigned claim professional from your own address. Do not post it. Do not put the claim number on a public form. Jubilee Homes is a furnished, pet-friendly home in Dallas–Fort Worth for as long as the repairs take — not a public adjuster, not a lawyer, not tonight’s shelter.

No public walk-in. No street address published. Quote / availability can go to you, not onto a public page.

If you have named a housing vendor: we read Travelers’ public note that families may not be required to use a named housing company (Travelers Loss of Use claim guide). If that is not this file, please tell us your company’s rule. We will work with your vendor or program if that is how you want the stay coordinated.

5. The questions we need you to answer

  • Is this comparable for the remaining period of restoration?
  • May we proceed on the dates above?
  • If you authorize it, do you want direct-bill to the file, or reimbursement from our receipts?
  • On what date should restaurant-meal increment stop once a kitchen exists?
  • If the rebuild slips, what is the right way to ask for extra nights before we stay?

We will not sign a housing agreement until you answer. We will give housing about 30 days’ notice when you tell us the house is becoming livable, and we will ask you before any extension.

6. What we are attaching

  • Hotel folios to date
  • Baseline sketch (typical groceries / utilities before the loss)
  • Contractor timeline or last written estimate of livable date
  • Household / pet / school notes as above
  • Housing quote sent to you (no public claim number)

7. What we are not asking anyone to do

Interpret the policy. Treat the carrier as an opponent. Invent a rent. Place us above the home we actually lived in. Cold-call other fire or storm families. Repair the house. Act as a public adjuster.
